Records of the Tribunal are archived in accordance with the Archives Act 1983.

The Tribunal's files are retained until the worker turns 72 years old or 7 years after the action is completed, whichever is the later.

All proceedings before the Tribunal are recorded and retained for a period of 12 months from the completion of the proceedings or such further period that the Tribunal may determine.

In accordance with section 48 of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 all proceedings before the Tribunal are heard in private and may only be open to the public if all the parties to the procedings agree.

The Tribunal does not perform litigation searches.
