Educational videos now available to provide information about how TASCAT works and what people can expect
Many people appearing before the Tribunal are navigating challenging personal circumstances and may not have legal representation. As part of TASCAT’s objectives to be accessible to parties, TASCAT has developed educational videos to provide clear, practical information about how TASCAT works and what people can expect when they are involved in proceedings before the Tribunal. The videos are designed to help people better understand the process, prepare for hearings and participate more effectively in proceedings. The videos recognise that people access and absorb information in different ways. Some Tasmanians experience challenges with literacy, while others may find it easier to understand information when it is presented in a visual and audio format. The videos are available in a straightforward plain English language format, as a further way to support our objectives. TASCAT continues to look at ways people can access important information, improving access to justice and helping ensure Tribunal services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
The videos are available on the Videos page
