Community education about the Guardianship and Administration Act 1995 is assigned under that Act to the Public Guardian (section 15(1)(i) and (j)). The Tribunal will consider requests for provision of professional development to tertiary students and professionals in closely related occupations or training, such as:

• legal
• financial
• medical
• nursing
• allied medical
• aged care
• disability and
• mental health

Generally, large groups will be preferred over small groups (10 persons or less).

Agencies requesting professional development from the Tribunal may be requested to cover travelling costs and any other costs associated with the presentation. Presenters may require technical support provided by the requesting agency in the provision of microphones, laptops and projectors.
