Section 31 of the Health Practitioners Tribunal Act 2010 - Powers of The Tribunal to decide applications

The Tribunal is to determine an application made to it under section 21(1) by making a decision in accordance with Section 196 or 197 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009.

The Tribunal is to determine an application made to it under section 21(2) by making a decision in accordance with section 202 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009.

The Tribunal is to determine an application made to it under section 21(4) for a review of a decision under a referring Act by making a decision in accordance with the referring Act.

Decision making by The Tribunal

The Tribunal must make an order as to its decision in relation to proceedings as soon as practicable after the end of the hearing, or hearings, in respect of the proceedings.
