Easter break office hours

The President has determined that TASCAT Registry will close at 5:00pm Thursday 14 April 2022 and will re-open Wednesday 20 April 2022 at 8:45am pursuant to SR 23(1) of the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2021.

The usual practice of allowing lodgement of urgent matters in the Guardianship and Mental Health streams will be maintained.

By virtue of Section 29 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1931, any proceedings that fall due to be filed while the Registry is closed receive an automatic extension to the timeframe for filing until 5pm Wednesday 20 April 2022.

This list determines the classes of proceedings which may be filed outside the hours determined by SR 23(1) – that is, which proceedings may be filed while the Registry is closed for the holiday period.
